Description

During this tour, you'll visit important holy places for the Christians in the Galilee Mountains where Christ spent most of his life on earth. Drive through the Galilee to visit Nazareth, a relatively small city which is the cradle of Christianity where the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ lived. One of the first stops is the Church of the Annunciation, the traditional site of Mary’s home. Afterwards, head to The St. Joseph Church, built on the location of the carpentry workshop of Joseph, father of Jesus. After leaving Nazareth, drive through Kfar Cana where Jesus performed his first miracle by changing water into wine. Then, continue to Tabgha, the site of the miracle of the multiplication of loaves and fishes. Proceed from Tabgha to Capernaum, a remnant of the once-thriving Jewish community, where Jesus began his ministry. Explore the ancient Synagogue and the home of St. Peter.  Experience magnificent views of the Sea of Galilee. Finally, drive through the city of Tiberias to Yardenit and experience the spirituality and pastoral beauty of the waters of the River Jordan, in which Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. After the tour, take a long drive back to Tel Aviv.
